The Little Academy (TLA) is an IB World School and runs the PYP programme.

TLA caters for children from 18 months (Toddler Class) to 8 years (Grade Four). The instruction at The Little Academy is in English and Arabic and the children have half an hour of French on a daily basis.

A Day at TLA:

Our doors are open from Sunday to Thursday from 7:45 with extended hours till 4:00 for interested parents.

The Nursery and The Kindergarten programme start at 8:30 to 1:15.

The Primary School’s programme starts at 7:50 to 2:20.

After School Activities:

TLA runs after school activities for interested children from 1:15 – 2:00 for the Nursery and Kindergarten and from 2:20 – 3:00 for the Primary School.

These activities include Football, Basketball, Taekwondo, French Club, Tennis, Cooking, Gymnastics, Ballet and more.

Our school academic year starts from the beginning of September till mid of June.

Summer Camp:

Our Summer Camp starts from the last week of June till the end of July.

Facilities:

• Library: TLA is very proud of its library which offers a very cozy atmosphere for the children. It houses thousands of books in Arabic, English and French. Children from all grade levels visit the library and check out books.
• Track & Field: TLA has a mini track & field where the P.E. sessions and sports events happen.
• Indoor Gyms: We have two indoor gyms that are spacious and well equipped for any activity.
• Cafeterias: There are three cafeterias at TLA. TLA does not offer food for the children, but these cafeterias create safe and clean areas for the children to have their sandwiches and snacks.
